GS Yuasa Battery Europe Ltd have unveiled a new micro brochure for Automechanika Frankfurt 2022. The pocket-sized product will make an enormous impact in both reducing paper waste and highlighting the manufacturer’s class leading offer to the automotive aftermarket.
Compared to previous years the brochure, which is A6 in size, will save 75,000 sheets of A4 paper, 2,363kg of CO2 and 6,400 gallons of water.
James Douglas, European Group Marketing Manager for GS Yuasa Battery Europe Ltd said “Our new micro brochure will save over 75,000 sheets of A4 paper at Automechanika Frankfurt alone. To put that into perspective, that’s 250kg and if those sheets of paper were placed end-to end they would reach over 25km.”
This massive reduction has been achieved by designing the brochure to feature GS Yuasa’s market leading GS and Yuasa product ranges together, plus information about the new YCX charger range and GS Yuasa Academy. It uses QR codes to direct readers to more information and also features both English and German text, meaning that the new micro brochure replaces four other much larger A4 catalogues.
As a corporation, GS Yuasa is actively working to reduce the volume of greenhouse gasses it emits. The group is working towards carbon neutrality through a wide range of carbon reduction measures and in May 2021, it set itself ambitious targets to reduce overall CO2 emissions by 30% by 2030, compared to a 2018 baseline.
GS Yuasa will exhibit its industry defining range of GS, Yuasa and GS Yuasa batteries and accessories at Automechanika in Frankfurt from 13 to 17 September 2022. Along with showcasing its range of OE quality batteries, which is the widest of any manufacturer, it will also launch a new range of YCX chargers, preview European versions of its online GS Yuasa Academy and demonstrate the world’s most advanced battery lookup system.
